Brief History of the Department : The department of physics was established in 1973 with the introduction of B.Sc degree course with the combination of mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.The Department of physics is started a view to enter the needs of the society and economically weaker students of the backward Guntakalr egion which is a drought prone area. At present the department has five sanctioned posts.
