 VISION:-

• To Empower the students with the Knowledge and Skills of Botany and other applied fields like Biotechnology in tune with the changing global scenario for pursuing Research or procuring employment in the allied areas and to make the department as the centre of excellence.
• To Expose themselves to the diversity amongs life forms
  
• To make aware of natural resources and environment and the importance of conversing it.
• To develop the ability for the application of acquired knowledge in the fields of life so as to make our country self-reliant and self- sufficient

• To introduce restructured programs as per the needs of the  society
• To utilize  ICT and student centric methods in teaching learning process
• To inculcate research attitude in the students through “study Projects/College level projects
• To encourage the students to participate  and present papers in district/state/national seminars.
• To upgrade the Lab equipment and learning resources in  accordance with the enrichment of curriculum
• To conduct Skill-oriented certificate courses to settle as Entrepreneurs.
